Finally got my new stereo (Kenwood Excelon KDC-X590) and installed it.

I ordered it from Crutchfield, and they sent everything I needed to install the stereo myself and I think it looks pretty nice!

The reason I got this model is because it supports USB mass storage, so you can plug in a thumb drive or a USB hard drive and play it from there. There is also adapters available for an AUX out or an iPod connector. The iPod connector was free(!) so even though I don’t have an iPod yet, i may be getting one Real Soon Now.
The only problem with the installtion is the USB connector I stuck in there…

Any ideas how I could install that a little better? All I did was roto-zip a semi-square hole and hot glue the cable in there
